WordPressのマルチサイト機能とは、WordPressを1つインストールするだけでサイトのネットワークを作成することができる方法です。複数のサイトを実行するこの方法の設定はとても簡単です。 そういった環境でそのまま使用してもbbPress は とてもよく動作します。

後述するどの方法を使っても bbPress はあなたの設定どおり正常に動作します。 bbPress は有効化されているサイトでのみ動作します。 If it’s activated network-wide, on a subsite, or as a must-use plugin, it will idle on all sites in the network, ready for the Key Masters of those sites to create forums and craft the experience to fit the needs of that site.

WordPress multisite is a way to be able to create a network of sites powered by one single installation of WordPress. Running multiple sites this way is very simple to set up, and bbPress works very well out of the box in this type of environment.

In any of the below scenarios, bbPress works exactly how you tell it to. bbPress natively runs only on the sites it’s activated on. If it’s activated network-wide, on a subsite, or as a must-use plugin, it will idle on all sites in the network, ready for the Key Masters of those sites to create forums and craft the experience to fit the needs of that site.

ネットワーク全体の有効化

  1. ダッシュボード > ネットワーク管理者と進みます。
  2. プラグイン > 新規プラグインを追加と進みます。
  3. 注目プラグインの項目にbbPress が表示されていると思うのでそこからインストールできます。もしくは検索バーに“bbPress”と入力してエンターキーを押してプラグインをサーチすることもできます。
  4. 今すぐインストールをクリックします。
  5. プラグイン一覧のbbPress プラグインの項目でネットワーク有効化をクリックします。

bbPress はネットワーク全体を動作させるための必須プラグインとして設定することもできます。

Network-wide Activation

  3. You will see bbPress part of the featured plugins and you can install from there , or you can type “bbPress” into the search bar and hit enter to search the plugins.
  4. Click Install Now.
  5. HIt Network Activate on the bbPress plugin in the plugins list.

bbPress also could be configured as a must-use plugin to work network-wide.

マルチドメインルートのみ有効化

  6. 上部にある WordPress ツールバーのMy Sites リンクにカーソルを合わせ、domain root site of your networkを選びます。
  7. プラグイン > インストール済みプラグインと進みます。
  8. さあ、bbPress プラグインを有効化しましょう。
